Are you an expert in food science and engineering, ready to make an impact in food innovation? [BioFoodTech](https://biofoodtechpei.ca/) (based in PEI) is seeking a **Food Processing Specialist** to join their technical team, working on cutting-edge projects that help clients commercialize innovative, sustainable food products. You'll be joining industry professionals such as [Jillian MacCallum Sproul](https://cfin-rcia.ca/about/team#:~:text=Jillian%20MacCallum%20Sproul), Executive Director of BioFoodTech and a member of the CFIN Board of Directors!

In this role, you'll be:

- **Designing & Optimizing Production:** Apply principles of food science and engineering to select or design equipment, processes, and systems for efficient, high-quality production.
- **Troubleshooting & Improving Processes:** Evaluate and enhance existing techniques to boost efficiency, yield, product quality, and sustainability while resolving any technical issues that arise.
- **Conducting Pilot Trials:** Lead trials to scale-up production, establish critical parameters, and ensure specifications are met.
- **Providing Expert Guidance:** Work closely with management to form project objectives, plan resources, and develop strategies for success.
- **Client & Team Collaboration:** Maintain strong communication with clients and staff, updating on progress and delivering detailed reports.
