Hello everyone, We're excited to officially introduce Free From Co-Packing, a new Canadian co-manufacturing company focused exclusively on dedicated top allergen free dry blending and packaging. We are taking over an existing top allergen free production facility in Middleton, NS meaning we are not starting from scratch. The facility already has an established history of top allergen free manufacturing, and we are now building on that foundation as a dedicated co-pack platform for brands across Canada and beyond. Our mission is simple: create a true top allergen free manufacturing hub where brands can confidently produce dry products without the concern of cross-contact from priority allergens. The top allergens are not permitted in our facility. Our focus includes: • Baking and dry mixes • Nutrition and functional blends • Coffee blending and packaging • Spice and seasoning blends • Other shelf-stable powdered foods We are currently working through fresh Canadian Food Inspection Agency licensing and NSF third-party certification approvals, as these certifications must be reapplied for under new ownership and cannot be transferred from the previous operator. You've got this Anthony. I suspect you already have a solid grasp of food safety fundamentals and if so, building and scaling toward SQF Level 2 is very achievable. ---

This is exciting news for the Canadian food industry and a great step forward for allergen-safe manufacturing in Atlantic Canada. As an allergen trainer who has worked through different real-life allergen management and food safety cases, I truly understand how important dedicated allergen free facilities are for consumer safety, brand trust, and retail confidence. It's encouraging to see Atlantic Canada continuing to grow in the food safety and compliance space.
