Hey YODL'ers!

We talk alot about food as medicine and personalized nutrition here at CFIN as this trend is driving new product development and better for you products on store shelves. There are many aspects to this conversation including the intersection of health insurance, treatment vs prevention and medical practitioners.

A Canadian university has launched a first of its kind culinary medicine elective to train future doctors on how to pair health and cooking. Check out the segment below!

| Medical students at the University of Alberta have taken their passion for health and cooking, and paired them together in a new culinary medicine elective. Each month future physicians participate in a lecture and a cooking class to further their skills. We went to see them in the kitchen. |

This is very interesting and good step forward in my opinion. I'll be following this project closely. Hope they end up attracting the attention of doctors and dietitians!
