**Hi everyone!**

I'm Sarah from **Taco Tony** in Leamington, Ontario. We're a family-owned restaurant that's been around for 25 years, and we're known for a lot of best-sellers on our menu - but our **green salsa verde** is by far the crowd favorite. People from all over Southern Ontario visit just to try it, and we often hear rave reviews about it. (Some of our competitors have even tried to copy our family recipe!)

We're now looking to take the next big step: **bottling our salsa for retail.**
I'm wondering if anyone here knows or can recommend companies that offer **co-packing or bottling services** for sauces like salsa. Specifically, we're looking for:

-
**Small to medium batch production**
-
**Help with making it shelf-stable**

If you have any recommendations, advice, or even personal experiences with co-packers in Ontario, I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks so much in advance!
 Sarah Barona, Taco Tony

Hi Sarah,

Have you connected with Conestoga College? They have a fruit and vegetable chopping/processing line and believe they also have sauce bottling capabilities. Happy to make an introduction if needed.

On a side note, we're working on a research project to help identify upcycling opportunities for greenhouse fruit grade-outs. If you use greenhouse vegetables in your salsas, would you be open to having a 15 minute chat with us?

By the way, my colleague and I were in Leamington about 2 months ago on a work trip and stopped into Taco Tony's for dinner. It was the best meal of our trip!

Alex

Hi Sarah,

Good options for you may be Roothams near Guelph and Giraffe Foods in the GTA.

Sarah,

Hope you are well. Have not has the opportunity of visiting your establishment in the past but, might be in the area in August vising a customer.

Depending on what type of co-manufacturer your looking for, there is a company in Quebec doing numerous types of sauces with particulates ( vegetable pieces) that you might consider talking to. Its called Mondiv ( Division of Lassonde). Here is some information on them for you to call to discuss.

https://www.lassonde.com/en/

Good luck in your search. If you ever decide to consider your own production line, let me know if we can assist. We have provided numerous production line for customers in Ontario, Quebec and Maritimes.

Have a great week.

Regards,

Don.
