Hey YODLers! There's original content being published every day on YODL - if you haven't had a chance to dig into it all, here are three favourite articles from last week you should really sink your teeth into: 1. [Guest Post: How Networking on YODL Led to a New Career Path and the Growth of Ontario's Laplace Robotics (cfin-rcia.ca)](https://www.cfin-rcia.ca/blogs/yodl-master-cfin/2023/07/17/guest-post-how-networking-on-yodl-led-to-a-new-car?CommunityKey=69401021-a461-47e4-a4d4-e5661b59733f) This article was created and written by a CFIN member [@Jeff Hetherington](https://www.cfin-rcia.ca/network/members/profile?UserKey=c2bd4a4e-7884-4856-b40f-299e43b5c7be) who found himself at a crossroads taking an early retirement because of the challenging times brought by the pandemic. As Jeff states in his article "through a stroke of fate, I wrote a random post on YODL to reach out, offering my wealth of experience to any startup that could provide genuine innovation." This article brings to light how a post on YODL changed Jeff's life by catching the attention of [@Rae Chan Jeong](https://www.cfin-rcia.ca/network/members/profile?UserKey=ad4973f0-911c-4420-b01d-19025f015caa), the CEO of Toronto, ON-based [Laplace Robotics](https://www.laplacerobotics.com/). A must-read, this Guest Post proves exposure on YODL can have a lasting positive effect for your career and business. 2.[CFIN Funded Projects: One Year Updates – Forward Water Technologies (cfin-rcia.ca)](https://www.cfin-rcia.ca/blogs/yodl-master-cfin/2023/07/19/cfin-funded-projects-one-year-updates-forward-wate?CommunityKey=69401021-a461-47e4-a4d4-e5661b59733f) CFIN has provided funding for 40+ projects over the past two years. In this video [@Lavina Gully](https://www.cfin-rcia.ca/network/members/profile?UserKey=f1475bde-3d3d-496a-bc93-67e0b527f86c), CFIN RID for British Columbia catches up with [@Howie Honeyman](https://www.cfin-rcia.ca/network/members/profile?UserKey=d5f22bf4-3508-4950-a734-e6f0280bb0b0), CEO of [Forward Water Technologies](https://www.forwardwater.com/) to learn more about how their innovation has changed and advanced since their first year of funding! 3.[Company Spotlight – Impactful Health R&D (cfin-rcia.ca)](https://www.cfin-rcia.ca/blogs/yodl-master-cfin/2023/07/20/company-spotlight-impactful-health-rd?CommunityKey=69401021-a461-47e4-a4d4-e5661b59733f) This article is one in a series of interviews that CFIN member companies have [applied for and received funding](https://cfin.connectedcommunity.org/media/news-releases/six-canadian-foodtech-projects-receive-funding). This article is a great way to learn more about NS-based Impactful Health R&D's sustainable active packaging (which extends the shelf life of fresh proteins), their view on the food industry and their plans for the future.
