5 innovative startups and companies in Québec to know!

Here are our finalists for the Technological Innovation category of the 2024 DUX Awards! I will have the chance to announce the winner(s) of this new category at the Gala taking place on February 21! The DUX Gala is the biggest event in #Québec recognising new products, projects, services, and now, for the first time, technological #innovations!

In the meantime, here are the 5 finalists!

🔺 Relocalize- (Montreal) Canada’s first autonomous micro-factory producing food products locally, directly onsite, at distribution centres.
🔺 Bela Peko- (Québec) Preservation process — for more than a year — of vegetable purée in bags at room temperature.
🔺 L'Or Rouge de la Côte-Nord - (Sept-Iles) Process for transforming chitin into chitosan that consumes less energy, produces less waste, and has a molecular weight twice as high as what is currently available on the market.
🔺 Maïam- (Sherbrooke) Solid fermentation process, without drying or adding water, of soy processing co-products.
🔺 Thimus Canada - (Montreal) Technology using neuroscience and AI to support product development with data that explain and predict consumer behaviour.

Les Grands Prix DUX and The Canadian Food Innovation Network are collaborating again this year to showcase truly transformative projects for the food industry.

I take this opportunity to thank the judges who made it possible to select these 5 finalists!
