BioFoodTech (based in PEI) is seeking a Food Processing Specialist to join their technical team, working on cutting-edge projects that help clients commercialize innovative, sustainable food products. In this role, you'll be:
- Designing & Optimizing Production: Apply principles of food science and engineering to select or design equipment, processes, and systems for efficient, high-quality production.
- Troubleshooting & Improving Processes: Evaluate and enhance existing techniques to boost efficiency, yield, product quality, and sustainability while resolving any technical issues that arise.
- Conducting Pilot Trials: Lead trials to scale-up production, establish critical parameters, and ensure specifications are met.
- Providing Expert Guidance: Work closely with management to form project objectives, plan resources, and develop strategies for success.
- Client & Team Collaboration: Maintain strong communication with clients and staff, updating on progress and delivering detailed reports.
