Hi Everyone,
My name is Johanna and I am the Industry Partnerships Coordinator for Practera. We are an ed-tech company that partners with Canadian universities to support their work-based learning programs.
We're excited to offer the Canadian Food Innovation Network Network the opportunity to partner with The University of Waterloo on an upcoming Cybersecurity research project.
The University of Waterloo's Career Accelerator Program supports mid-career professionals to upskill and diversify their skillset in Cybersecurity in order to advance their careers. All while providing your company with fresh insights into your cybersecurity strategy.
This is a 4-week programme running between September 30 - October 27, 2024. It's completely FREE to join and no access to your internal systems or sensitive materials is required, teams will be conducting secondary research.
This is a great opportunity for organizations looking to receive a comprehensive overview and analysis of current cybersecurity risks facing your sector and organization. As AI software constantly evolves, they can also identify cybersecurity tools and processes that help you to keep up to date and secure.
Why Participate?
-
Receive different viewpoints on your cybersecurity posture.
-
Contribute to the professional growth of Waterloo students while benefiting from their research.
-
Each team will invest over 200 hours across four weeks to produce a tailored cybersecurity report for your business.
Your Commitment:
-
Spend 1 hour per week reviewing team deliverables and 1 hour in an initial client briefing session.
-
Weekly catch-ups with student teams based on your availability.
This is a unique chance to gain fresh insights while mentoring the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. If interested, please send an email to projects@practera.com.`
