  1. Participate in CAPI's Risk Report – The Canadian Agri-Food Policy Institute (CAPI) announced the launch of its inaugural Agri-Food Risk Report. The collaborative report is seeking input from stakeholders throughout Canada's agri-food sector to help inform policy solutions that enable a more resilient, sustainable, productive, competitive, and profitable food system. Survey closes on May 23.

  1. Machine Learning in Cellular Agriculture Residency – New Harvest and the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii) are seeking applications from innovative scientists with a background in machine learning and cellular agriculture for a one-year residency opportunity. Deadline to apply is July 15.

  1. Canadian Terroir Symposium – It's not too late to register for the Terroir Symposium, happening this weekend in Calgary. The event brings together some of the world's leading food innovators, including chefs, hoteliers, drink experts, writers, and business leaders.   1. Food in Canada's Ingredients for Success Conference – Food in Canada magazine is welcoming speaker proposals for their inaugural Ingredients for Success: Scaling Strategies for F&B Processors conference.   1. UNIDO Foodtech Innovation Event – The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) is accepting submissions to present at their Global Call 2024 Event in Seoul, Korea, this November. This year's theme is foodtech innovation-they are looking to feature companies working on innovative technologies addressing critical issues in the global food system, including hunger and unequal distribution. Deadline to apply is July 31.

  1. NGEN's Sustainable Manufacturing Challenge – The Sustainable Manufacturing Challenge is seeking projects that will support Canada's path to net-zero greenhouse gas emissions and target challenges like emissions reduction. These Projects will aim to accelerate the application of Canadian cleantech and other advanced technologies to improve the environmental sustainability of Canadian manufacturing.   1. Food Traceability Funding – B.C. producers, food processors and seafood businesses can now apply for funding to help improve product tracing, meet consumer demands for greater transparency, and protect public health via the province's new Traceability Adoption Program (TAP).
