Hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out on behalf of the research team at Chemistry Department of Carleton University where I work as a Research Associate. We are in the process of preparing an application for NSERC-Alliance funding and are looking to explore potential collaborations with industry partners.
Our research focus is about adding value to agrifood by-products using advanced technologies such as ultrasound, enzyme-assisted extraction, or microwave extractions. We are specifically interested in producing natural ingredients from agrifood by-products or waste associated with cereals, spent grains, canola/oilseed meals, dairy, and plant-based. Given your expertise and connections in the Canadian food industry, I think there could be some great opportunities for us to work together.
I would like to discuss how our combined knowledge and resources could benefit this project. Would you be available to discuss this further?
Additionally, if you could introduce us to others in your networ who might be interested in this initiative, we would greatly appreciate it.
I'm not sure if you're looking for institutional partners, along with company partners, but Fanshawe College's Centre for Research and Innovation is heavily involved in agri-food research, including waste valorization of agricultural byproducts, and would be interested in exploring collaborative opportunities. Please feel free to connect with me at ibutcher at fanshawec.ca to discuss further.
Thanks for posting about your collaborator search Aynur, and welcome to the YODL community. We definitely have quite a few members utilizing spent grains that you could connect with @Marc Wandler@Shawn Leggett
