Does anyone know of funding programs available through the Province of Ontario or federal agencies that could support a packaging facility (food safe packaging) in setting up a food safety management system and pursuing certification benchmarked to GFSI?

Thanks Don. I don't actually have a facility! We support facilities across North America. For Canadian companies, I often assist them with finding funders to support food safety & quality management improvements. Ontario is a tough one. The funds are often exhausted and from my experience, they are frequently hidden. I'll keep at it!

Maureen,

Funding for Quebec companies is also lacking in allowing the small to medium size companies to access funding for upgrading their facilities or purchasing equipment. Most of the funding or investing groups who have the government money to disperse, usually gives it to large companies like Northvolt and Lion Electrics because it creates headlines for the groups even when they fail and loose millions in taxpayer funds !!

Canada needs a better funding for the small/.medium size companies that want to grow !!
