Robotic Deployment for QSR + Family Causal are a very common sight in international restaurants. Businesses tend to use robots as a co-existence equipment along with staff, reducing the number of actual staff in attendance while getting the job done. Now, there are certainly limitations to what a service robot is capable of doing, hence education and consultation is needed to help food vendors (and the Public!) understand robots are not complete human replacement, but rather an enhancement to their customer’s experience. Our company is and will continue to establish a foot print in the Western Canada market by connecting with hospitality industries to understand their portfolio and see whether robotics may be a feature they use to reduce redundant labor while maintaining service levels.
The CFIN show mentions customer attraction which robots most certainly provides as an added bonus!
