Hi everyone! Great news for small businesses looking to level up their technology.
The Ontario government just announced an additional $5 million to expand the Digital Competence Centre (DCC), run in partnership with the Ontario Centre of Innovation (OCI). This is a fantastic opportunity for small and medium-sized businesses to adopt digital tools, modernize operations, and boost efficiency.
If you're looking to upgrade your tech, here are a few matched funding grants available through the program:
Digital Modernization and Adoption Plan (DMAP): Up to $15,000 to help you plan your next technology investments.
Technology Demonstration Program: Up to $50,000 to help match private investment for purchasing and installing new technologies.
Retail Modernization Project Grant: Up to $5,000 for smaller retailers (50 or fewer employees) to adopt tools like inventory management, point-of-sale systems, cybersecurity, and AI solutions.
Driving digital transformation and tech adoption is so important for long-term resilience, and this funding is a great way to help get those projects off the ground.
Would you know whom to reach out to about this program? As a solutions provider / systems integrator in Quebec and Ontario, I'd like to better understand how to get in front of manufacturers looking to access this funding.
Thank you for posting this opportunity. I am excited to apply for it. However, I am in British Columbia. Would I be eligible? Kindly let me know. Thank you.
