Spent Coffee Grounds to Cocoa Powder Substitute

Hello CFIN Members,

We are a mutlidisciplinary research team from the Chemistry Department at Carleton University, where I work as a Research Associate.

We are currently seeking partners for a research project focused on producing a cocoa powder substitute from spent coffee grounds.

I have prepared a preliminary proposal that outlines key details of the project. If this opportunity aligns with your company's interests, we would be happy to discuss how we could work together to advance this important area of research. Additionally, we would greatly appreciate any introductions to others in your network who might be interested in this inititative.

Would you be available for a conversation to discuss this further?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Aynur Gunenc, PhD

Hello Anyur,

You should contact me on this. We have already developed a cocoa substitute from coffee. We've been working on it for 3 years and just brought it to market. It's called KAFFIKA Cocoa Extender, and it's been developed through a patent pending process. We would be happy to hear from you about collaboration. My email adddress is gordon.neal@rfinebiomass.com
