Upcycling connections

Hello YODLers - I have a member in Ontario that is working on some really interesting projects in the area of sidestream valorization from an industry-leading cold-juicing process. I'd love to make some connections with some of our other members who are working in the circular economy space, or those who have an interest in upcycled, organic, and nutritionally-dense ingredients for their products/formulations (as opposed to traditionally-sourced produce).

The target markets for this unique and advantageous form of ingredient(s) are: better-for-you snacks, children's health and wellness products, baked goods, and dietary supplements. In the more immediate term, this individual/group is looking at the animal nutrition/feed market as the materials are readied for human nutrition.

Let me know if you might be interested in making a connection. Please reach out to linda@cfin-rcia.ca

Hi Linda,

I would be interested in connecting with this organization to explore opportunities related to by products from our vegetable processing operations...peas, beans, sweet corn, carrots, squash, & brussels sprouts.

Thanks you,

Thanks to everyone who has gotten back to me on this - what a great community!

Some new info, further to my original post: this company is interested in forging a strategic alignment with a group who is capable of drying/dehydrating clean, single-stream moisture-laden fruit and vegetable pomace from cold-press juicing operations into shelf stable powder. In addition to this capability, you will need to be able to provide accurate milling and packaging services as well.

Is this you? or maybe you know of someone? Drop me a note at linda@cfin-rcia.ca

Hello Mary, we do not process spinach in any of our Ontario facilities at this time.

Hi Linda,

At Green Bowl Foods (Revived Foods), our core mission is to upcycle food by-products into shelf-stable ready-to-eat meals. Presently, we are engaged in upcycling carrot pulp, spinach pulp, spent grain, and B-grade quinoa.

We are keen on establishing a connection to explore potential collaborative opportunities.

Please provide us with their contact information.

Thank you,

Max

Hello Butch,

Let's have a call on Monday if you're available to discuss the opportunities.

Thanks,

Max
