We are finding so many resources that point us to companies that either can't help or do not get back to us. We are looking for a Co-Packing/Manufacturer for a healthy kids snack start up that has an order for 5K and 10K units. Need to create asap. Anyone know of what company to talk to? Could be any where in North America. Thanks
We are designing and developing Heathy snacks for both adults and kids and looking for marketing and sales distribution partner for commercial scale manufacturing.
As you mentioned that has an order of 5K and 10K units.
Q1. How frequent is that order?
If the minimum order is minimum 5K and 10K units per day or week, we can setup an pilot scale manufacturing plant.
I am going to start the process as soon as I can get the purchase order.
Please contact me for further details. I can be reached by e-mail: molesci.matesci@gmail.com and Cell/whatsapps +16474042847
With best regards

Hi Rick,
I'm not sure what recipes or ingredients your snacks are based on, but if you're looking for gluten-free and allergen-free dry snacks, our friends at GoGo Quinoa might be able to help you. Based in Montreal, but serving clients across the continent. Good luck and best success in your endeavours, cheers.

Hi Rick - while you sort through replies, here's a quick screening list that saves a lot of time with co-packers, especially for a kids' product headed to retail:
- Minimums and lead time first. 5-10K units is a small run for many plants, so ask about minimum run size before anything else. It filters the list fast.
- Certification. Ask whether they hold a GFSI certificate (SQF, BRCGS or FSSC 22000) and for their latest audit result. Most retail buyers will ask you for it, and a co-packer without one can cost you the order even if the product is great.
- Registration. A US plant should be FDA-registered; a Canadian one should hold an SFC licence and ship to the US regularly, so the FSMA paperwork isn't new to them.
- Allergens. Ask which major allergens (sesame included) run on the same line and how they validate cleaning between runs. For a kids' snack, that answer matters more than price.
- Lot coding and recalls. Agree on the lot code that goes on your packaging before the first run, and ask when they last ran a mock recall.
Asking your shortlist for the documents in week one (certificate, audit report, allergen program, insurance) usually tells you quickly who's serious.
Good luck with the launch.
