Collaborators Wanted: Join Our Circular Project to Upcycle Meat Processing Waste!

Hey everyone!

We're excited to launch a new circular project in South West Ontario to divert waste from meat processing and upcycle it into edible meat products. But we can't do it alone! We're looking for collaborators who can help us with the following:

  1. Licensed beef processors: We need first-hand insights into how you deal with various waste at the moment. We also need some of this as feedstock for our upcycling process.

  2. Food-grade enzyme producers/ distributors: We're looking for food-grade enzymes that can be used to break down the waste into edible meat products.

  3. Food safety/laboratory services: We need help ensuring that our process & products meet regulatory and safety standards.

By collaborating with us, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to a more sustainable meat processing industry and save on waste disposal costs. Plus, you'll be promoting your brand as environmentally responsible and committed to sustainability.

So, if you're a CFIA-licensed beef processor, a food safety/laboratory services provider in South West Ontario, or a food-grade enzyme producer, let's team up!
Reach out to us to discuss further.

Together, let's make a more sustainable future!

Would love to learn more and see how I can be of assistance with the R&D and regulatory aspects of this noble mission. Much of my work has dealt with the citrus waste ecosystem where millions of tons of citrus peels are converted to cattle feed each year and we've had some tie-ins to meat consumption as it relates to digestive health. May have some lab and enzyme resources to share if you need them.
