Hi everyone, I’m Farzad, founder of Innovation Peer in the GTA. I recently joined CFIN to connect with food manufacturers and others working on practical production improvements.
We help Canadian manufacturers assess where automation may fit, compare approaches and clarify a project before speaking with suppliers.
For food and beverage manufacturers here, which process would you most like to improve: packing, palletizing, inspection, material movement, or something else? What is making the next step difficult?
Hi Farzad,
Automation is NOT the key for profitability. We must analyze the whole supply chain to understand our position.
Meanwhile, innovation is NOT the key for profitability, while intellectual property (IP) is the key. China has 90+ percent of global rare earth market, because Chinese has most of the IP in rare earth supply chain, from row mine finding to manufacturing.
Food technology and industrial automation are heavily patented sectors.
Since 2009, we have been using our own IP to track the real time technical landscape of Canada, China (mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan), Middle East (Israel, Saudi Arabia, UAE) and Europe (Austria, Germany, Switzerland, UK) from US patent holding point of view,
This is about strength/weakness/opportunity/threat (SWOT) and is sorted by the census geographical locations of the above economic entities.
