Each webinar runs between 30 to 45 minutes every other Wednesday beginning at noon EST on Zoom Webinar. Since this series is part of our professional development, we ask that the topics be educational rather than promotional. Panels are also welcomed and encouraged.

As Dana mentioned, Ag-tronic Control Systems is working on developing compostable produce stickers, and I'd be happy to connect you with their Operations Manager, @Derek Sorrell!
We have a member who recently was involved in the project to create a global standard for compostable produce stickers. I think they would be a super cool speaker since they can tell you how hard it is to do something this simple. The company is called Ag Tronic control systems.
Another cool speaker who could speak to digital transformation in food science in an unexpected way, is RxFood. They are using AI and specialized photographic programming to tackle nutrition science. I think CIFST members would be interested to learn how these technologies can accurately translate complex nutrition analysis for consumers who want to track the calories and nutrients they consume merely by taking a picture of their plate. Their app is used by 3,000,000+ people and they have learned a ton about consumers and about how hard it is to keep up with the speed of product luanches so consumers get an accurate result from the app when they are looking for nutrition info about new products.
Our team can make intros if you want to pursue either idea for the series.

We automate climate & emissions reporting for food & bev companies and do educational webinars every month, so could possibly contribute on trends we're seeing in the regulatory/voluntary space when it comes to sustainability and climate reporting? Not sure if this is the type of thing that would be interesting to the audience, but if so, let me know! I'm at lauren@carbonhound.com :)
BCFT recently put on a webinar about the Front of Pack Labelling regulations coming in. We did it as a joint event with CHFA who spoke about the regulations and the consumer perception around that based on their own market research, and I presented a little about re-formulation considerations at the end. It was a great session and took about an hour. If this is of interest to open up to the broader CIFST community, we could ask CHFA again if they'd be interested in presenting again. I can certainly do my part again too. The webinar was really well received.

Hello Heidi, I am from the automation division at Phoenix Contact where one of our primary focuses is OT (machine-level) cyber security. Food & Bev is a key industry for us as there have been an increase in cyberattacks in this space, and food manufacturers tend to look at cyber security as a lower priority until it's too late. OT Cyber Security leads well into digitalization, which I think would speak well towards your "Digital Transformation" topic.
